Meet the Stones
Lloyd and Tina Stone opened The Purple Tiger to create a great community restaurant where small town nostalgia is celebrated, everyone is welcome, and the food is outstanding.
Lloyd is a Purple Tiger and a standout athlete, playing football and basketball and running track for the Mount Vernon High School teams. The Stone family has had several generations of athletes represent the school on the field and in the classroom.
Tina is the business force behind The Purple Tiger, bringing her family’s decades of restaurant experience to a new community. In addition to running the business operations, she is a REALTOR and she and Lloyd raised four Tiger daughters here in town.
